The week dissected, 17–21 August 2026: 50 additions, 0 removals and 38 amendments across the EU, OFAC, UK and UN lists.
Who the entries concern: 47 persons, 31 companies and other legal entities, 10 vessels. The busiest day was Friday 21 August with 60 changes. Most of the movement ran through OFAC SDN List (52 entries). By programme, OFAC's counter-narcotics programme (US-NARCO) led with 25 entries, ahead of ISIL/Da'esh sanctions (UN-SCISIL) at 21.
For screening teams the type split is the work plan: person entries are name-and-date matching; legal-entity entries need ownership unwrapping before a match can be cleared; vessel entries reach into trade-finance and charter files.
