AMLA Final Report on draft ITSs under AMLAR Art. 15(3) — CySEC C796.

This week's developments are dominated by the EU AML framework build-out. AMLA has issued its final report on implementing technical standards under AMLAR Article 15(3) (C796) and held a public hearing on draft regulatory technical standards under AMLD6 Article 46(4) (C778), both of which will shape binding obligations for all obliged entities. CySEC has also flagged ML/TF risks following the end of the MiCA transitional period (C790), directly relevant to firms with CASP exposure. Two further circulars cover a FATF report on stablecoins and unhosted wallets (C762) and a European Commission consultation on beneficial ownership information formats under Directive (EU) 2024/1640 (C738). No new sanctions designations or FATF list changes this week.
