Screening a client once is a snapshot; the lists keep moving. Since firm.cy began publishing the daily sanctions changelog on 28 July, the lists have changed on 9 of 11 days — 291 additions, 122 removals and 669 amendments, with 620 changes landing on a single day (4 August).
A client screened at onboarding and never again is being compared against last month's lists. Cyprus obliged entities are expected to re-screen on trigger events and periodically in line with the client's risk band — and amendments matter as much as additions, because alias changes shift both false positives and false negatives.
FIRMCY monitoring re-screens enrolled parties automatically and alerts you on new findings, with the same audit trail as a manual run.
