The CBA published the 8th edition of its Guidance for Administrative Service Providers on 04/08/2026 — the most significant item this week for all ASP-regulated obliged entities. AMLA opened a survey on Central Contact Points and the EBA published its draft reporting framework for the 2027 eligibility data collection, both relevant to upcoming AMLA operationalisation. Two ICPAC exam registration reminders are routine administrative items.

Top priorities for obliged entities

CBA 8th Edition ASP Guidance published (04/08/2026)

The CBA's core compliance manual governing administrative service providers has been updated; all ASP-regulated obliged entities must review the 8th edition, identify material changes from the 7th edition, and update internal AML/CFT procedures accordingly.

AMLA is gathering input on the designation and role of Central Contact Points under AMLD6 — obliged entities operating cross-border should monitor outcomes as this will affect reporting and supervisory contact obligations.

The EBA framework will define the data AMLA uses to determine which obliged entities fall under its direct or shared supervision from 2027; relevant entities should review the draft and assess whether they may be in scope.
